Tecno just announced the Pop 6 Pro, a few months away from the Pop 5 GO, and it’s still the most inefficient of all the Tecno brands, but it somehow looks more modern. Tecno hasn’t released the full specification sheet, but we already know some of them.
First off, the display is a 6.6″ LCD panel that has a water drop notch housing the 5MP selfie camera. The thick bezel at the top holds a front flash which can be used to brighten up your selfies in low light conditions.
The Tecno Pop 6 Pro is powered by a quad-core processor which we don’t know its name, and it’s backed up by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. Surely the 32GB isn’t enough for a power user, so a memory card or SD card tray is present in this device. The software is covered by HiOS 8.6 on top of Android 12 (Go edition).
Turning to the rear, the Tecno Pop 6 Pro sports dual cameras, the main one being an 8MP sensor. the second camera is unknown but it is likely to be a QVGA sensor. by the way, the back panel looks beautifully designed.
There are two features that I really like about this device; one is the Battery capacity which is at 5000 mAh, Tecno is known for doing this and they still bring the same battery capacity to lower-budget smartphones. Two, they finally got rid of the rear fingerprint sensor. the finger print sensor is now built into the power button, like most modern phones.
The Tecno Pop 6 Pro comes in two colors which are; Peaceful Blue and Polar Black. There is no official price for this device, but it is expected to start at a price of 60,000 Naira in Nigeria.
