Asus has just launched the ROG Phone 6D and the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate in Kenya, which are Mediatek variants of the original ROG Phone 6 and 6 Ultimate which were released earlier this year.
Both phones are powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ chip aided by 16GB of RAM. the storage options for the Phone 6D are 128GB, and 256GB, while the Phone 6D Ultimate has the 512GB option.
The chip inside the new phones is the only main difference between the ROG Phone 6 and the 6D. the other diference is on the Phone 6D ultimate, as it features an AeroActive Portal gives the AeroActive cooling fan a path to the internal components, enabling better cooling.
it still sports a 6.78-inch OLED screen with the same 165Hz refresh rate. The battery capacity still stands at 6000 mAh and can be charged at a speed of 65W via USB cable.
The cameras have the same rear and selfie configuration. The rear sports triple cameras which are 50MP+13MP+5MP. there is a 12MP sensor at the front for taking selfies.
Asus also launched a Batman edition of the ROG Phone 6D today and its still the same phone, but with a Batman design language, and some cool Batman-themed accessories relating to the movie character.
Both the regular and the Ultimate model come in Space Grey and Vanilla colors and they are priced at £799 and £1,199 respectively which is about Ksh 110,122 and Ksh 165,000 in Kenya.
